Hannah Montana is played by Miley Cyrus

The lead character in this great Disney series is Miley Stewart who is also Hannah Montana a famous rock singer who keeps her stage career a secret so she can have a sort of a normal life when she's not on performing.  The father, Robby Stewart, is also her manager in the series and played by Miley's real dad, Country-Western singer Billy Ray Cyrus. The story line on the new Disney Channel show is confusing at times because the actress Miley Cyrus plays both Miley Stewart and her secret identity Hannah Montana. There are a lot of wigs changed as each episode evolves.  

The writers have done an outstanding job giving viewers a wholesome story that addresses any problem and solves the problem before the show is over. Most of the stories use Hannah’s double life as the central theme. The series is rated TV-G and is expressly aimed at preteen audiences 14 years old and under.
